What is the Summer Reading Program?

The Summer Reading Program (SRP) is a national library initiative that encourages everyone to read throughout summer. The theme "All Together Now" emphasizes that reading is for everyone regardless of age or experience or background! The Summer Reading Program encourages young people, 12th grade and under, to love reading and also prevents the "summer slide", a loss of skills they learned the previous year. Our hope at TCPL is that SRP will help all ages read more each week and participate in our fun special summer events!

What is this year’s theme?

The SRP 2023 theme is All Together Now.

When does Summer Reading run?
