Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Library experience desirable. Experience with or a background in working with children or in a children’s environment is preferable. Comfortable with operation of computer and computer programs such as Microsoft Office, basic email, etc. Able to sort, alphabetize, and shelve library materials.
Job Description: 20 hours per week, to include Saturdays. Operating library management system to check in and check out library materials, answering phone, maintaining Children’s area, assisting with library programs, and providing excellent customer service to the public.
Wages & Benefits: Hourly wage to be negotiated upon hire. There are no medical or personal time off benefits with this part-time position.
