Upcycle Crafting is for kids and teens (10-17 years old). In this monthly series, we'll re-use everyday items like styrofoam, milk jugs, old eyeshadow pallets, and more to create cute crafts. We'll meet monthly with the help of Ladelthia Underwood, an amazing artist and crafter.

Join us for the FINAL meeting of Upcycle Crafting where we’ll make adorable Shrinky Dinks! Create your own keychains, earrings, and more to show off this summer.

Homeschool Hangout is for families who homeschool their kids/teens and want to hang out with other families. The whole family is invited to craft, play games, and take part in each month's seasonal activity. This program meets in the Community Room. 

This month Homeschool Hangout will look to the stars! We will explore astronomy and discover the stories behind constellation names, learn what apps can help ID stars and planets, and talk about upcoming summer meteor showers.

Kara Campbell from the Taylor County Extension Office and Children's Librarian Antonia Bottoms lead this monthly gardening program for kids at TCPL. 

Kaleidoscope Gardening preps the final raised beds for the summer on May 22. Kara Back-Campbell from the Taylor County Extension Office will demonstrate caring for summer vegetables and growing cherry tomatoes and peppers.
