TCPL's Temporary Closure - April 20-May 9, 2026

Taylor County Public Library will temporarily close from Monday, April 20-Saturday, May 9, 2026 while we install new furniture and arrange the books. The public is invited to our Grand Opening on Monday, May 11, 2026, between 9 AM-2 PM, at TCPL.

We will offer curbside service during our temporary closure. During regular business hours, contact us for books and more:

Can’t make it during regular business hours? We’ll put your items in our Books Retrieved After Dark (BRAD) Locker! Items are placed in the locker beginning at 5 PM the day you call/email until 2 PM the following day.

Story Hour

Join Children's Librarian, Antonia Bottoms, for stories and activities each Friday in the Children's Room. This program is for all kids!

Come enjoy the fall season during Story Hour on Fridays with books, crafts, and free play! We will read 2-3 books, learn relevant sign language, and have an accompanying craft. We will celebrate Black Poetry Day and Halloween later this month, so don't miss out on our special story-filled Fridays! Also, be on the lookout for our very special Story Hour with Campbellsville University on October 25th!
