The TCPL expansion is coming along quickly! This photo features TCPL's new main entrance. As you enter, you will see the new main circulation desk with easy access to the Adult stacks, a conference room meeting space, an inviting outdoor courtyard, and a hallway connecting the new expansion to our existing building.

Once the new addition is completed, the library will temporarily close to allow us to move the Adult collection along with a limited selection of Children’s, Junior, and YA materials to the new space. During this phase, patrons and the public will still be able to check out titles, use public computers, and access front desk services including faxing, copying, laminating, and notary services while renovation on the existing building takes place.

Renovation on our existing building is scheduled to begin in Fall 2025.  Upon completion, it will house a makerspace, private meeting rooms, plus an expanded Children's, Junior, and YA area and collection.  

We look forward to unveiling a fully renovated, reimagined library designed for the whole Taylor County community to learn, connect, and grow!
