In October, the group will meet on the second Tuesday at 12:15 PM. Locations: Taylor County Public Library Age Group: Adults Program Type: Health & Wellness Veterans Outreach Veterans Outreach meets the fourth Wednesday each month. Benefits Field Representative Kevin Kearns will help you file claims for veteran disability compensation, non-service connected pensions, survivor benefits, and educational benefits. Wondering if you could qualify for disability benefits? A Veteran does not have to be completely physically disabled in order to receive disability benefits. If you know a Veteran that ever had to go to sick call while on active duty or had any injuries or medical issues while on active duty that still affect them today, they could be eligible to receive monthly compensation.

This monthly program combines storytelling and creative crafting for kids of all ages. This program meets in the Community Room. Join us for a brand new after school program kicking off on Wednesday, January 22nd, from 3:30-4:30 PM! This month’s craft: bird feeder pinecones! Locations: Taylor County Public Library Age Group: Kids Program Type: After School, Gardening Event Details: Kaleidoscope Gardening Kara Campbell from the Taylor County Extension Office and Children's Librarian Antonia Bottoms lead this monthly gardening program for kids at TCPL. Kaleidoscope Gardening returns Thursday, January 23rd! This month, Kara Campbell from the Taylor County Extension Office will teach us how to successfully propagate house plants! Kids will receive pots, dirt, and a plant to grow!
