Recipe for Reading is a book club that fuses reading and cooking! This club is not defined by genre, but rather by each month's food theme! First, we'll meet together to discuss that month's selected book, then, we'll make a no bake dessert inspired by the book! We will also be raffling off a copy of the next month's book during each meeting. Teens, come and eat free food and be entered to WIN a book just by showing up! This book club will be held every third Tuesday of each month. Sign ups are not required. And remember: every page counts, so come even if you've not finished the book!

February's theme is The Color Red. We'll discuss The Red Queen by Victoria Averyard, and then make red velvet mug cakes.

March's book is Me, Early, and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews. We'll make peanut butter zombie eyeballs. This program is during Teen Zombie Week!

If you are participating in the Teen Winter Learning Challenge, this program is eligible for the "Something New" badge in February.
