October is Inktober here at Taylor County Library and across the world! The Inktober Challenge encourages everyone to draw everyday.

Kids age 7-11 are invited to meet with us each Thursday afternoon this October to spark their artistic creativity with Inktober! During the first session on October 1st, participants will receive a sketchbook with prompts to complete each day. Come back each Thursday afternoon with your sketchbook to draw as a group and share your artwork, which will be displayed at a gallery in the library at the end of the month!

This group is open to beginner to advanced artists. All supplies will be provided by Taylor County Public Library. Library patrons have access to the Creative Bug Inktober Guide with their library card number for daily doodling inspiration.

Children, as well as parents accompanying children, must register to attend.

Please note that we are following the Healthy at Work guidelines. This requires us to maintain 6 foot social distance and perform temperature checks on all attendees as they arrive. We ask that everyone ages 6 and up wear a face mask while in the building.
