TCPL's Temporary Closure - April 20-May 9, 2026
Taylor County Public Library will temporarily close from Monday, April 20-Saturday, May 9, 2026 while we install new furniture and arrange the books. The public is invited to our Grand Opening on Monday, May 11, 2026, between 9 AM-2 PM, at TCPL.
We will offer curbside service during our temporary closure. During regular business hours, contact us for books and more:

Can’t make it during regular business hours? We’ll put your items in our Books Retrieved After Dark (BRAD) Locker! Items are placed in the locker beginning at 5 PM the day you call/email until 2 PM the following day.
Rhyme Time
TCPL's Rhyme Time is on every Tuesday at 10 AM. We will sing songs, learn sign language, and play with our friends! Come visit and make new friends!
Dr. Susan Harris Howell is a writer, speaker, and psychologist on faculty at Campbellsville University where she has taught for over thirty years.
The TCPL Bookmobile will be at Crescent Hill Manor from 3:30-4:30 PM for anyone to browse and checkout books. Not a TCPL patron yet? We can help you sign up for a library card.
Game On! for Teens
Teens (12-18) are invited to come to the Community Room for snacks and games! TCPL has 2 Nintendo Switches available for use, but teens can also bring their own. Board games and more will be available for playing! Teens are welcome to check out games and submit new game ideas to Antonia Bottoms.
