TCPL's Temporary Closure - April 20-May 9, 2026

Taylor County Public Library will temporarily close from Monday, April 20-Saturday, May 9, 2026 while we install new furniture and arrange the books. The public is invited to our Grand Opening on Monday, May 11, 2026, between 9 AM-2 PM, at TCPL.

We will offer curbside service during our temporary closure. During regular business hours, contact us for books and more:

Can’t make it during regular business hours? We’ll put your items in our Books Retrieved After Dark (BRAD) Locker! Items are placed in the locker beginning at 5 PM the day you call/email until 2 PM the following day.

Event Details

Discover the fun of video gaming with your children and grandchildren! This hands-on program introduces parents and grandparents to the basics of gaming on Xbox, MetaQuest, and Nintendo Switch. 

Learn how to navigate controllers, explore beginner-friendly games, and practice in a relaxed, supportive environment. Whether you're new to gaming or just want to connect with your child through play, this event is for you! Please register each adult attending. The registration will ask the number of children (ages 8+) or teens attending with you.
