TCPL's Temporary Closure - April 20-May 9, 2026

Taylor County Public Library will temporarily close from Monday, April 20-Saturday, May 9, 2026 while we install new furniture and arrange the books. The public is invited to our Grand Opening on Monday, May 11, 2026, between 9 AM-2 PM, at TCPL.

We will offer curbside service during our temporary closure. During regular business hours, contact us for books and more:

Can’t make it during regular business hours? We’ll put your items in our Books Retrieved After Dark (BRAD) Locker! Items are placed in the locker beginning at 5 PM the day you call/email until 2 PM the following day.

It's almost time to celebrate our annual Free Comic Book Day at Veteran Owned Gaming. Join us Saturday, May 2nd, from 11-2pm for games, crafts, and a cosplay contest! 

There will be comics to take with you, comics available for trade, graphic novels available for checkout (bring your library card), and there will be cool games to buy. Kids and adults of all ages are welcome to stop by.

Cosplay contest will take place at 1:30, contestants must be in the store by that time. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will win gift cards to Etown Comics, Cards, and Collectibles!
