Q: How do I get a library card?
A: We are always excited to add new members to our library family. To register, you will need a picture I.D. and proof of current address. You may check out 5 books and 2 DVDs on your initial visit and you must be a patron for 2 weeks to check out reference books & equipment.
Q: What are the library's policies for materials checked out?
A: After initial checkout, 30 item limit per library card. Reserved books will be held for 7 days. Renewals may be made in person, on website, or by telephone. Late fee of $.05 per book, per day will be assessed. Late fee of $1.00 per day per DVD will be assessed. DVD’s cannot be renewed.
Q: What if my materials won’t renew?
A: If your materials won't renew, the item is either reserved for another patron, the maximum renewal limit has been reached, or your library account is blocked due to accumulated fines of more than $5.00.
Q: Do you have DVD’s?
A: Yes we have DVD’s available for all ages. When you sign up for a library card, you are allowed 2 DVD checkout. After that is returned, you can check out 4 at a time for a 7 day time period. DVD’s cannot be renewed and you can put them in the bookdrop after hours.
Q: How do I use the Public Computers?
A: Present a photo ID and register for a library card.
Q: Do you have printing or faxing services?
A: We do. Print copies are 20 cents per page, 30 cents if 2 sided, and 40 cents if color. Faxing is 50 cents per page to send or receive.
Q: What form of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash, and for $1 or more credit or debit. No personal checks.
Q: How many items can I check out at a time?
A: Each patron may have 30 items checked out at one time per library card.
