Weekly Children's Programs

Rhyme Time for Babies-Age 2 (starting June 6) 
Tuesdays @ 10:00 AM

Read books, sing songs, play with toys, and of course... blow bubbles! During Summer Reading, complete an Activity Log with your child (ages 2 and under) to receive a free board book!

Books & Bites
Thursdays in June (starting June 8) @ 11:00 AM

This all ages story hour is a great time for the whole family to visit the library! We'll read books together, do activities such as crafts and games, and then eat free lunch in the Community Room at noon!

Gardening with Gail
Fridays in June (starting June 2) @ 10:00 AM

Sign up to attend this popular gardening program! Ms. Gail Grisso will be joining us each Friday to lead children in gardening activities such as potato buckets, pouch planters, and more! Sign up for each session individually at the front desk. Limit 10 children per session.

Play @ the Park
Fridays in June (starting June 2) @ 10:00 AM

Make a play date at Miller Park part of your summer routine every Friday in June starting at 10:00 AM! We'll have the Bookmobile parked for children and adults to peruse books (or save yourself a trip and return books!) and the Cooperative Extension Office will be serving free snacks!

Free Lunch @ the Library

Ages 18 and under are welcome to get a free lunch at the library this summer! 

Summer Reading Kick Off Night
Friday, June 2 from 5:00-6:30 PM

Kids and teens can come sign up to participate in this year's Summer Reading Program. Receive your registration bag, a free book (while supplies last), and complete your Community Pass for a chance to win an iPad Mini!

Field Trip to Green River Lake
Monday, June 5 @ 11:00 AM
Green River Lake Visitor Center

Meet out at the Visitor Center and bring the kids! We'll meet with a park ranger first to learn about the wildlife found at Green River Lake. Then, have fun exploring the Visitor Center, and meet us out on the playground for free pizza!

Imagination Station
Tuesday, June 6 from 9:00 AM-2:00 PM

We'll have a variety of recyclable materials set up in the Main Area of the library, for kids (or teens, or adults!) to exercise their creativity. Create anything you can imagine, using items such as egg cartons, bottle caps, tape, glue, and more!

Wednesday, June 14 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM

Learn about the vehicles and people who help our community! We'll have a variety of different vehicles set up in the parking lot of Campbellsville Baptist Church such as a fire truck, police cruiser, military vehicle, and more! Head to the library afterwards for a free lunch!

Craft Corner
Tuesday, June 20 at 2:00 PM

Join Ms. Veronica, our crafty library volunteer, to make and take several different crafts during this hands on program open to ages 2-12.

Camp Wonderopolis #1: Wonder Power Plant
Tuesday, June 27 @ 5:00 PM

We're so excited to be part of Camp Wonderopolis this year! Join us for a family friendly program, where we will learn more about electricity from our friends at LG&E-KU. Free pizza will be served, and a few lucky participants will win a door prize!
