Our Mission:

Taylor County Public Library strives to connect with adults in the local community by providing programs and activities that enhance the educational, recreational, and informational needs of adults of all ages. Our Adult Services range from weekly Bingo and Chair Yoga to English as a Second Language Classes and Chronic Illness Support Group. We also have a variety of book clubs to suit all fans of all genres! The Adult Programming Librarian, Jessie Yates, strives to provide a wide range of services by partnering with local businesses and organizations to give access and opportunity to all populations at no cost. If you have any program suggestions, questions concerning a current program, or would like to partner with us to provide a unique program, email Jessie Yates at [email protected] or call (270) 465-2562.

Who doesn't love a good craft session? We regularly offer programs such as wreath making, book folding, Yarn Crafter's Club, and more! Programs vary monthly.

Pickin' in the Park, our annual bluegrass concert held at Miller Park, is our most popular library program! Held as part of Campbellsville's Fourth of July festivities, all ages are welcome to attend!

Pizza and Comedy is a great time to come out to the library for laughs provided by The Harlequins, Campbellsville University's improv group!

We are proud to have an active Friends of the Library group! Pictured above, the Friends sponsored a Christmas Cookie Bake & Take, held at the Taylor County Extension Office.

We offer several different fitness activities, all for free! Yoga, Pilates, Chair Yoga, Walking Club, and more are all available on a weekly basis!
