Wonder Power Plant // Pizza & Power

Wonder Power Plant // Pizza & Power

Tuesday, June 27 from 4 PM-7 PM

TCPL Community Room

From the Camp Wonderopolis Power Plant Track:

Life wouldn’t be the same for us if we didn’t have power. The lights and appliances in our homes, cars, buses, and trains, and certainly our personal devices, all run on power. Let’s explore where that power comes from!

During this family program we will be learning all about what it takes to keep the lights on from our friends at LGE-KU!

Teens, join us at 4:00 PM for Pizza & Power! Representatives from LGE-KU will be here set up with a The Mini-City, a tabletop demonstration of how electricity flows through our city.

At 5:00 PM, the ages combine with FREE PIZZA for teens, kids, and adults!

From 5:00-7:00 PM, LGE-KU will be running Mini City demonstrations, and Louie the Lightning Bug will be visiting as well!

Come wonder with us as we learn all about electricity!

This program is brought to you by a grant from the National Center for Families Learning and Camp Wonderopolis!
